Bitari Solutions Limited (“Bitari Solutions Limited”, “TimeURL”, “we”, “our”, “us”) values your privacy.

The Privacy Policy applies to the services that we provide, as well as your use of our website and web app or platform, and any other services that link to or refer to the Privacy Policy (such programs and services, collectively, our “Services”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of other businesses that we do not own or control, including other companies’ websites, services and applications (“Third Party Services”) that you can access through the Services or to individuals that we do not manage or employ. TimedURL’s Services.

TimedURL is an online service developed and maintained by Bitari Solutions Limited which collects personal data about you from different sources, as described in this Privacy Policy, when you:-

1. Register for the Site and the Services, through your user account with TimedURL, including registering through a third-party service (your “Account”);
2. Use the Services; or
3. View or interact with a TimedURL link, or other Bitari Solutions Limited Product on a third-party website.

We collect the following types of information from you to improve our services, some of which might be considered personal data under applicable law:

1. Information You Provide Directly

When you visit our website’s landing page and desire to know more about our services, we shall collect your email address for purposes of contacting you to send you information about the Services we offer.

When you register to create an account in our mobile or web app or platform, you may give us your personal data such as your full name, email address and password. If you create an Account using your login information from a third-party account, such as Google, we will access and collect the personal data about you that the third-party account provides (which is based on your privacy settings with the third-party account), so that you can log into your Account with us. We use your contact information to send you information about our Services and communicate with you about your Account, your activities on our Site and Services and policy changes. You may unsubscribe from receiving certain types of these messages through your Account settings, although we reserve the right to contact you when we believe it is necessary, such as for administrative and account management purposes.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

We collect or receive certain information automatically, such as online usage and log data, when you visit or use our websites, mobile or web apps or platforms, or other online Services (collectively, our “Online Services”).    

We may collect some of this information using cookies, web beacons, and other technologies. When you visit our website, you will receive a one-time cookie pop up consent wherein you are given the opportunity to consent to the use of cookies. Should you decide not to consent to the use of cookies, some functionality of our Online Services may not work properly. Cross-Border Data Transfers

TimedURL is a global service that is used throughout the world which means that your personal information may be transferred, stored, and processed outside of the country or region where it was initially collected.  Please be advised that your personal information may be transferred outside the country of your residence to a country that may not have laws with the same levels of protections as those of your home country.  For data subjects whose data was collected in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), please note that we may transfer your personal information to third countries outside of the EEA and the UK, which the European Commission (EC) or the UK data protection authorities may not have deemed “adequate” for information security purposes.  We have in place appropriate and reasonable measures for the transfer of such personal information, including contractual measures requiring the protection of personal information.  For personal information transfers out of the EEA or the UK to Third Countries, we rely on the EC’s Standard Contractual Clauses.  If you require more information about our data transfer mechanisms, please contact [email protected].

Our Commitment to Security

We employ appropriate and reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against loss or against any form of unlawful processing and shall impose such security obligations on any data processor we enlist. For example, we, or our data processor(s), shall use servers that have been placed in a controlled, secure environment, protected against unauthorized access.  

Children’s Privacy

Our Online Services are intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 16 without prior parental consent. If you are a parent who consents to the collection of personal information from your child, you agree that your child may use all of our Online Services and that we may collect, use, and disclose your child’s personal information consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Records Retention

Bitari Solutions Limited keeps records only for as long as they are needed for us to conduct our business and to comply with our legal obligations.

• Request a copy of your personal data to be sent to a third party;

We will respond within thirty (30) days (or any earlier period required by law) by: 1) complying with your request as soon as practicable; or 2) providing to you an explanation regarding our inability to comply with your request based on our legal obligations. If your request is complex, we may extend this period by an additional sixty (60) days (or any shorter period if required by law), and you will be informed about any such extension within the initial period.

If you withdraw your consent, we will discontinue the processing of your personal information upon receipt of your withdrawal. However, any processing performed prior to your withdrawal remains a legitimate processing based on a valid consent at the time. We will not be under the obligation to reverse the processing.  Please also note that withdrawing consent or choosing to delete some types of personal information may prevent us from providing services or programs to you or responding to your queries. In order to better protect you and safeguard your personal information, we may take steps to verify your identity before granting access or making changes to your information.

If you are in the EEA, you have the right to lodge a complaint with an EU supervisory authority should you feel that we have violated any of your rights as provided under the GDPR.

If you are outside the EEA, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local authority responsible for personal data protection.

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately. You are automatically agreeing to any changes to the Privacy Policy when you use the Services after those changes become effective.
